Trailblazer - Say hello to the future of mobile power.

Along with our canopies, i2o Ltd, along with our research and development partner inside2outside Ltd, get involved with developing new, innovative projects to push into the future of shelter, power, and energy.

The latest project, headed by our founder Dr Robert Carpenter, is Trailblazer - a source of portable, clean energy.

TrailBlazer is seen as a replacement for the abundance of diesel generators currently used at events, in construction, or even at natural disasters events such as floods or earthquakes, in conflict areas or refugee camps. The trailblazer trailer can supply 100kWh of energy – enough to power the average UK home for a week – and uses flexible solar photovoltaic cells stored in the trailer to recharge the energy supplies daily. The design uses lightweight flexible solar PV cells that generate from daylight as well as sunlight, meaning the trailer’s photovoltaic cells can be installed vertically or horizontally, regardless of orientation or shading, giving users the maximum flexibility.See more info and download the press release here:
